these three rings

It’s been a few weeks since my last blog post, so I thought it was about time for a new one!

This past weekend was the first time I used my digital camera for months, because I’ve been so committed to shooting film (browse the #35mm tag for a plethora of images!) I had to get back in the habit of taking several shots for each take and converting from RAW to jpg, but it all came back pretty quickly. (Though I must say, I think I still prefer film ;)

I chose to breakout the digital cam because I wanted to make sure these images came out just so, and I wanted them right away.

What was so important, you ask? These three rings!

I blogged images from Taylor’s sunflower proposal a few months ago, and shared a few images of my engagement ring.

Now, I’m sharing a few more #highquality images of the ring, as well as two new additions!

Taylor’s wedding band was once his great-grandfather’s. A local Santa Rosa jeweler, E. R. Sawyer, took great care of it and now it shines like new! They also helped re-shape my engagement ring, which is also an heirloom.

I got my wedding band from HOLDEN, a NYC-based ring company that specializes in affordable, customized bands. I requested a 2mm thin band, which pairs perfectly with the engagement ring!

Lastly, I ordered a succulent ring dish from Waen to display them in. I also have a (not pictured) sunflower ring dish from Painted Press. These items remind me of my favourite plants, and help me store the rings beautifully! I’m also thankful to have received two beautiful ring boxes (one that includes a ribbon!) to display them in as well.

I hope you like these photos of our wedding rings!

We are hard at work wedding planning, and things are definitely falling into place.

I’m so excited for the big day!
