9 months in, 9 months out

I’ve been meaning to catch up on some blogging for a while, because a lot has happened in the past five months.

First off, many travels: Ariadne has been on three round trip flights to Dallas, DC, and NYC, and we’ll be returning to Dallas in Oct. We also took a last minute trip to Disney and she got to meet Mickey and Goofy! Lastly, we went on a cruise with my parents, and Ariadne loved it. Which is good, because we have another weekend cruise coming up in November! And our big transatlantic cruise in Jan…

Aside from traveling, we’ve ~ moved ~ once again. It’s been 4 times in 4 years, but hopefully this one will be the last for a while, because we bought a(nother) house! We sold our Baltimore home earlier this year, and it really worked out because the perfect new house became available this July. After a very quick turnaround, we moved in August and are now pretty much settled in

Ariadne now has her own room, and has been crawling up a storm. She’s so much more active now, and such a smiley happy baby. She’s so close to standing independently, and babbles + laughs whenever she sees the pets.

Month 4: Mothers Day shoot

I treated myself to a mother’s day mini shoot with JMP Miami They came out so good!

Month 5: DC trip

We completed our second round trip with a baby! Ariadne slept for most of the flights, and she loved exploring the nation’s capital. We were in DC for my 5 year (!!) graduation and also got to see some old friends.

Months 6: Disney Trip

Taylor got a new job in June, and in between them we were able to take a few days off to do an impromptu trip to Disney World! Ariadne got a panda friend at the China pavilion at Epcot, and she always squeals in joy whenever she sees it (still). She seemed to enjoy the few rides she was able to go on, but she had just learned to crawl, so was a little upset about not being able to do that all day.

The film photos were great, but those last photos from our Mickey encounter…. priceless.

Month 7: Family Shoot

We did our third shoot with Jinny K, and got some amazing lovely portraits of our growing fam. I didn’t know it at the time, but we would be moving to the house soon, so I’m glad we got these to commemorate the place we brought our baby home for the first time.

Month 8: Royal Caribbean Cruise

Fast forward to August, she was able to reunite with her grandparents and have a week at sea! She loved crawling around our room, and we got to see some of my relatives in Puerto Rico. She loved the crew! I also got some great panoramic shots of St Thomas.

Month 9: Moving house!

And that brings us to September! Finally the start of nicer weather, Taylor’s birthday, our anniversairy… it’s a busy month. We spent most of it moving into the house, so here are some photos of Ariadne’s nursery accents and our very cool windows.
