aruba - one happy island
My first post of 2021 is a ~ travel ~ blog, so hopefully that means the year is off to a good start!
Sometime last fall, Taylor and I were thinking about what to do for Christmas and happened upon a great deal on tickets to Aruba. So we decided to go for it!
We got to spend the last week of the year enjoying the warm breeze, going to the beach, and snorkelling. It was my first time trying it out, and after a few tries, I think I had it down. We saw a few really big fish and thousands of small ones!
All in all, it was a very relaxing vacation. We got a very cute AirBnB (linked here!), wandered over to the main city of Oranjestad, and were able to ring in the new year with sooooo many fireworks, set off by seemingly everyone on the island.
Of course, I brought multiple cameras, and of course, I took lots of photographs!

It was a splendid time, and I’m looking forward to the next chance I get to spend in sand, surf, and sea!
