a walk in the park
hi all! it’s been a… not so eventful six weeks of staying home + fighting boredom. but there have been a few bright sides: i have my last day of online grad classes today, so year 1 of grad school is over!
plus, we’ve had some beautiful weather lately (although it might snow tomorrow night??) taylor & i took advantage of the sun last saturday by taking a short drive to patuxent nature reserve, about half way between baltimore + dc.
taylor made some PB&J sandwiches, we brought a few virgil’s cream sodas, & had a great scenic walk through trees along a lily pad lake.
take a look at these 35mm shots memorializing the lovely day!
there were so. many. bridges & nice pathways here!
i got to take full advantage of my new Bentgo bento box, and took some shots with the prettiest bokeh maybe ever.
and although i’m not a huuuuuge fan of the woods, i have to admit it was quite a pretty trail! we saw & head geese (they are so loud!), and ended out visit by picking some dandelions :)
last but not least, here are some portraits! & check out the comparison below to our great falls hike from nearly four years ago. how time flies!
