A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I took a trip to Roanoke, VA for the weekend.

As you can tell from this site, I'm a fan of photography. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is into everything transit-related. As it so happens, Roanoke has plenty of both these things!

First off, we went to the Virginia Museum of Transportation, where we saw a lot of old cars and trains. We also went to the O. Winston Link Museum, which is a photography museum dedicated to images of trains (so very niche!). Lastly, we visited the Taubman Museum of Art, which was small but also free.

Plus, we stayed the night in the fancy Hotel Roanoke.

Of course, we also enjoyed roaming around the small downtown and basking in the beautiful weather!
